箱根に新たなリゾートホテル「檜造りの宿ホテル森の風箱根仙石原」がオープン。木造２階建て全44室で、「美人の湯」ともいわれるカルシウム－硫酸塩泉（低張性アルカリ性高温泉）を楽しめる。
畳敷きの檜の大浴場や、岩風呂、檜風呂、壺風呂からなる源泉かけ流しの露天風呂で、体の芯までリラックス。歩廊と露天風呂から眺められる日本庭園風の百花庭園や、随所に常設展示されている130点に及ぶ郷間正観氏の書画で非日常を堪能できるステイとなりそうだ。
